12 60 <br /> 1 Planning Board Member Lisa Stuckey said if an item gets to the QPH, that it should not <br /> 2 be kicked back to the Planning Board unless it was a major and unexpected exception. <br /> 3 Chair McKee said he can support removing the requirement that the Planning Board <br /> 4 members attend the joint meetings, but highly encouraged the Planning Board to attend. <br /> 5 Chair McKee said the BOCC has never removed anyone from the Planning Board <br /> 6 because of unexcused absences. <br /> 7 Chair McKee said these text amendments do not need to make these processes any <br /> 8 more confusing than they already are. <br /> 9 <br /> 10 A motion was made by Commissioner Dorosin, seconded by Commissioner Rich to <br /> 11 approve: <br /> 12 <br /> 13 1. Referring the matter to the Planning Board with a request that a recommendation be <br /> 14 returned to the BOCC in time for the November 5, 2015 BOCC regular meeting. <br /> 15 Increase noticing of distance, and reinstating paper notification and language to be clear and <br /> 16 who is able to testify, and quorum recommendations. <br /> 17 <br /> 18 2. Adjourning the public hearing until November 5, 2015 in order to receive and accept the <br /> 19 Planning Board's recommendation and any submitted written comments. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 22 <br /> 23 <br />
