Recreation and Parks Grant Applications <br />The Board will consider authorizing staff to pursue a variety of grant opportunities available to the County <br />through the Recreation and Parks Department. <br />i. Classification and Pay Plan Amendment -Add Class of Homeless Programs Coordinator <br />The Board will consider amending the Orange County Classification and Pay Plan to add the new class of <br />Homeless Programs Coordinator at Salary Grade 20 and authorize the FTE. <br />j. Community Development Block Grant Award -Housing Rehabilitation Program <br />The Board will consider approving the execution of the Funding Approval Form; Grant Agreement; and <br />Resolution for the FI' 2007 Community Development Block Grant Award and authorize the Chair to sign. <br />k. Approval of Tax-Exempt Financvig Arrangement for Efland ~%olunteer Fire Company, Inc. to <br />Construct a New Fire Substation <br />The Board will consider approving a request from Efland Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. to enter into atax- <br />exempt financing arrangement to construct a new fire station and authorize the Chair to sign the appropriate <br />documents related to financing. <br />5. Public Hearings <br />a. CDBG Scattered Site Housing Rehabilitation Program <br />The Board t~~ill conduct a public hearing to receive citizen comments prior to official close-out of the <br />County's FY 2004 Community Development (CDBG) Scattered Site Housing Rehabilitation Program and <br />authorize execution of the Certificate of Completion by the Chair. <br />6. Provisional Status Employees <br />The Board will consider adoption an amendment to the Orange County Personnel Ordinance Article I, <br />Section 4.0 to include a definition for "Provisional Status'' Employees and to confer the status of <br />"provisional" employee on those employees who qualify according to the definition. <br />7.
