Gordon <br />282 Edgewood Dr. <br />Chapel Hill, N.C. 27517 <br />Dear Commissioner Gordon, <br />t is with great sadness that I submit my resignation as Chair of the `Orange <br />County Unified Transportation Board effective immediately, 14 months after my <br />election to that position. Increased personal obligations make it impossible for <br />me fulfill my duties in a way that is responsible for Orange County. I had hoped <br />to continue serving on the board will as the Chapel Hill representative until the <br />BOCC could find a replacement, however, at this time I believe that will not be <br />possible. <br />Thank you for all your help and input and I apologize for leaving this position so <br />abruptly. <br />Sincerely, <br />Robert E.
