She said the group thought they had provided enough guidelines to <br /> 36 Laurie Paolicelli for her to move forward with implementation of this plan. <br /> 37 Commissioner Rich said the County was falling behind on technology, and feels this is a <br /> 38 great next step. She supported using the logo, as opposed to the seal. <br /> 39 Commissioner Rich said she would like to see an updated business card in person. <br /> 40 Laurie Paolicelli gave her some samples. <br /> 41 Commissioner Rich referred to the budget, and asked if$50,000 will be taken from the <br /> 42 CHOCVB for marketing the County. <br /> 43 Laurie Paolicelli said Orange County has always funded the CHOCVB through their a- <br /> 44 tax. She said Chapel Hill keeps a great portion of their a-tax for promotions, and Carrboro and <br /> 45 Hillsborough keeps all of theirs. She said it is very fair to use these funds, and they are already <br /> 46 set-aside in the current budget. <br /> 47 Commissioner Rich said the website does need to be addressed as it is not where it <br /> 48 needs to be. <br /> 49 Laurie Paolicelli said there is a terrific web team, which is discussing how to improve the <br /> 50 web either incrementally, or all at one time at a cost of about$20,000. She said this needs to <br /> 51 be a priority. <br />
