This task will focus on potential <br /> alternatives in relation to the anticipated service levels from Task 2. Elements include: <br /> • Develop potential options <br /> • Current organization (staffing requirements) <br /> • Potential organization within the County <br /> • Contract for management/services <br /> • Contract with Triangle Transit <br /> • Contract with Chapel Hill Transit <br /> • Meet with potential regional partners to develop options <br /> • Develop advantages/disadvantages for each option: <br /> • Costs <br /> • County control of service levels and quality <br /> • Oversight/monitoring <br /> • Legal authority <br /> • Impact on staff <br /> • Funding impacts <br /> • Future potential <br /> • Present options and assessment to County staff, policy-makers, OUTS Board, <br /> regional stakeholders. <br /> • Develop recommended organizational and staffing plan <br /> o Define roles and responsibilities <br /> 4 <br />
