12 <br /> 1 Commissioner Price said Bret is correct, and nothing the Board votes on tonight will <br /> 2 affect the N.C. 54 project. <br /> 3 Commissioner Jacobs said the discussion today involved more scoping of the project, in <br /> 4 light of more up to date information. He said this is just the first phase of looking at what may <br /> 5 happen. <br /> 6 Commissioner Pelissier said there might be another meeting to further discuss the 54 <br /> 7 corridor. <br /> 8 Chair McKee asked Commissioner Price and staff to keep the Board up to speed on the <br /> 9 N.C. 54 project. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 A motion was made by Commissioner Jacobs, seconded by Commissioner Rich to <br /> 12 approve adopting the resolution, which is incorporated by reference, endorsing transportation <br /> 13 projects within the Triangle Area Rural Planning Organization (TARPO) planning area to submit <br /> 14 for State scoring and consideration of inclusion in the 2018-2027 Statewide Transportation <br /> 15 Improvement Program (STIP). <br /> 16 <br /> 17 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 18 <br /> 19 a. Minutes— NONE <br /> 20 b. Health Department Fee Schedule Changes <br /> 21 The Board approved the multiple revised Personal Health and Environmental Health fees <br /> 22 approved by the Board of Health at its August 26, 2015 meeting. <br /> 23 c. Rural Recycling Trucks Procurement <br /> 24 The Board approved a Sole Source exemption purchase from Southern Truck Service, Inc. of <br /> 25 Charlotte, North Carolina to procure two (2) rural curbside recycling trucks at the cost of <br /> 26 $299,183 each ($598,366) and authorized the Finance Director to proceed with debt financing <br /> 27 for one of the new trucks in the amount of$299,183. <br /> 28 d. Approval of Budget Amendment #1-B for the Purchase of Fifteen (15) Mobile Field <br /> 29 Computing Units <br /> 30 The Board approved Budget Amendment#1-B for the purchase of fifteen (15) Mobile Field <br /> 31 Computing Units for the Sheriff's Department. <br /> 32 f. North Buckhorn Sewer— Transfer of Ownership to City of Mebane <br /> 33 The Board: 1. Authorized the Manager to sign the Successor in Interest agreement on behalf of <br /> 34 the County; 2. Approved the transfer of ownership of the utility infrastructure and easements to <br /> 35 the City of Mebane and authorized the Chair to sign the Dedication Form; and 3. Authorized <br /> 36 staff to pursue any further action necessary to complete the transfer of ownership to the City of <br /> 37 Mebane, per the 2012 Mebane-Orange County Utility Service Agreement. <br /> 38 g. Lease Modification — Department of Social Services Expansion into Former Dollar <br /> 39 Tree Space within Hillsborough Commons <br /> 40 The Board modified the Hillsborough Commons Lease servicing the Orange County <br /> 41 Department of Social Services to: 1) extend the terms of the initial Lease Agreement to the <br /> 42 expanded 10,116 square feet (the former Dollar Tree space); 2) re-instate the Option to <br /> 43 Purchase all or a portion of the entire Hillsborough Commons Shopping Center property; and 3) <br /> 44 authorized the Chair to sign the appropriate documents upon final review of the County <br /> 45 Attorney. <br /> 46 <br /> 47 7.
