The school obtains its potable water from a supply well
located on the campus.
One site was identified within a 1-mile radius of the proposed project as noted on the
attached map and in the table below. Due to the proximity of groundwater contamination at the
identified site and the projected increased pumping of the school well to meet future demands for
potable water, it is strongly recommended that site files be reviewed and appropriate precautions
taken to ensure a continued safe water supply for the school. Superfund Section site files can be
viewed at: http j/Dortal,ncdenr.orR/web/wm/sf-file-records.
Please contact me at 919.707.8369 if you have any questions.
ID##. — Site'Name Status
3
NONCDO001961 Kirschner,George Property Op site on the Inactive Hazardous Sites
entory
1646 Mail Service Center,Raleigh,North Carolina 27699-1646
Prone; 919-707-8200 t Internet: www.nr-denr.gov
AnLquafOp"Wniry[Afkn,anrakkn Employ-50%R"C Od 110%Pas!'GoRisumor r'aci
