Welcome and Opening Remarks — Chair Kelley, Chair Piscitelli, and Chair McKee <br />2. School Capital Needs Prioritization <br />Both Chapel Hill - Carrboro City Schools and Orange County Schools have completed <br />facilities assessments reflecting needs totaling approximately $330 million related to the <br />repair, renovation, and upgrading of existing older school facilities. The scope of the study <br />for Chapel Hill - Carrboro City Schools included the district's ten oldest schools, while the <br />Orange County Schools study included all district buildings. <br />At tonight's meeting, both school systems will present the prioritization of their School <br />Capital Needs. <br />Attachment 2a: CHCCS Older Facility Recommendations and Prioritization <br />Attachment 2b: OCS Facility Recommendations and Prioritization <br />
