2 <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: The following orange County Social Justice Goal is applicable to <br /> this agenda item: <br /> • GOAL: CREATE A SAFE COMMUNITY <br /> The reduction of risks from vehicle/traffic accidents, childhood and senior injuries, gang <br /> activity, substance abuse and domestic violence. <br /> Mobile field reporting provides a comprehensive strategy aimed at achieving a more effective <br /> and efficient means of crime control, reduced fear of crime, improved quality of life, improved <br /> law enforcement services and legitimacy of the services provided. This will ensure equitable <br /> treatment and support for the rights of those served and a fair allocation of community <br /> resources. <br /> BENEFITS: <br /> • sharing of real-time data between tele-communicators and deputies in the field <br /> • Provides multi-jurisdictional support for stronger information sharing <br /> • Integrates with additional systems through interoperable modules <br /> • Increases safety of deputies with critical information delivered real time <br /> • supports external data sources such as Google Maps <br /> • Enables advanced data searches on multiple fields <br /> • simplifies dispatch with drag and drop capabilities <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve Budget <br /> Amendment#1-B. <br />
