RES-2015-047 4 <br /> Attachment 1: Draft Resolution <br /> ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> A RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE TARPO PROJECT LIST DEVELOPED FOR CONSIDERATION <br /> IN NCDOT PRIORITIZATION 4.0 <br /> WHEREAS, Orange County is a member of the Triangle Area Rural Planning Organization, which is <br /> responsible for regional transportation planning activities in Lee and Moore Counties and portions of <br /> Orange and Chatham Counties; and <br /> WHEREAS, the North Carolina Department of Transportation has established the Prioritization 4.0 <br /> process to identify, score, and select transportation projects for funding in the 2018-2027 Statewide <br /> Transportation Improvement Program; and <br /> WHEREAS, the North Carolina Department of Transportation has given the Triangle Area Rural <br /> Planning Organization the authority to select projects to be submitted for funding consideration; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Triangle Area Rural Planning Organization has established a Prioritization <br /> Subcommittee to develop a draft list of projects to be submitted for Prioritization 4.0; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Triangle Area Rural Planning Organization has requested endorsement of this draft <br /> project list by its local government partners in the region; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Orange County Board of Commissioners has given due consideration to the draft list <br /> of projects recommended by the Prioritization Subcommittee; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Orange County Board of Commissioners that the <br /> Board hereby endorses the draft Prioritization 4.0 list of new projects as developed by the Triangle <br /> Area Rural Planning Organization Prioritization Subcommittee. <br /> Upon motion of Commissioner , seconded by Commissioner <br /> the foregoing resolution was adopted this the 15th day of September, 2015. <br /> I, Donna Baker, Clerk to the Board of Commissioners for the County of Orange, North Carolina, DO <br /> HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing is a true copy of so much of the proceedings of said Board at a <br /> meeting held on September 15, 2015, as relates in any way to the adoption of the foregoing and that <br /> said proceedings are recorded in the minutes of said Board. <br /> WITNESS my hand and the seal of said County, this day of 2015. <br /> Clerk to the Board of Commissioners <br />
