The Health Department has deferred revenue/in-flows and received revenue notification <br /> for the following programs: <br /> • Medical Reserve Corps Program — as of June 30, 20147 $3,021 from the <br /> National Association of City and County Health officials (NACCHO) was <br /> earmarked as deferred revenue/in-flows for use in FY201 5-1 6. The funds will be <br /> used for training and support costs in support of the department's Medical Reserve <br /> Corps Program <br /> • Care Coordination for Children — receipt of an additional $1,880 due to a higher <br /> than anticipated grant award. The funds will be used to help supplement cost of <br /> care management and program supplies/materials for the Care Coordination for <br /> Children program. <br /> • Women and Children's Health — receipt of an additional $31,090 from the N.C. <br /> Division of Public Health to further the Health Department's goal of lowering the <br /> number of unplanned pregnancies and poor health outcomes associated with <br /> them; the additional funding will be used to support preventative care critical to <br /> men's and women's reproductive health. <br /> • Medical Nutrition Therapy — receipt of an additional $6,084 to cover eligible <br /> expenditures that were previously budgeted under the Reducing Health Disparities <br /> Grant Project ordinance. This increase is due to an increase in revenue within the <br /> Insurance Charges account for services that were previously covered by the <br /> Reducing Health Disparities grant. This will ensure that the same number of clients <br /> are being seen and that there is not a decrease in the level of service provided. <br />
