Board Comments <br /> Commissioner Burroughs had no comments. <br /> Commissioner Jacobs said when the public passed the '/2 cent sales tax for <br /> transportation, the Board projected that there would be a train station in Hillsborough in 2015. <br /> He said due the railroad doing a comprehensive study of all the tracks and the State <br /> completing an environmental assessment, this project is now delayed until 2023. <br /> Commissioner Jacobs said there are two openings on June 20th: the Blackwood Farm <br /> dedication at 10 a.m. and the UNC Hillsborough Hospital public grand opening from 2:00-4:00 <br /> p.m. <br /> Commissioner Jacobs asked Bonnie Hammersley if the Eubanks Solid Waste <br /> Convenience Center site is going to close in July. <br /> Bonnie Hammersley said that has not been decided and the value engineering study is <br /> being completed now. <br />
