A motion was made by Commissioner Jacobs, seconded by Commissioner Price to appoint the following the Human Relations Commission: • Appointment of Dr. Christine Kelly-Kleese to a second full term (Position #1) "At-Large" representative with a term expiring 06/30/2018. • Appointment of Rv. Rollin Russell to a second full term (Position #11) "Town of Hillsborough" with a term expiring 6/30/2018. • Appointment of Rev. Susie Enoch to a partial term to position # 9 (Chapel Hill-At-Large Position) with a term ending September 30, 2016. VOTE: UNANIMOUS i. Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee —Appointment The Board considered making an appointment to the Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee. A motion was made by Commissioner Rich, seconded by Commissioner Pelissier to appoint the following to the Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee: • Appointment of Ms. Molly Stein to a one year training term (Position #2) At-Large Nursing Home Administration with a term ending 06/16/2016. VOTE: UNANIMOUS Commissioner Dorosin asked if the Board could encourage the vetting of the other applicants for these positions, in order to get them filled. Chair McKee asked the Clerk to write a letter to the Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee instructing them move post haste with the vetting process. 12. Board Comments Commissioner Burroughs had no comments. Commissioner Jacobs said when the public passed the '/2 cent sales tax for transportation, the Board projected that there would be a train station in Hillsborough in 2015. He said due the railroad doing a comprehensive study of all the tracks and the State completing an environmental assessment, this project is now delayed until 2023. Commissioner Jacobs said there are two openings on June 20th: the Blackwood Farm dedication at 10 a.m. and the UNC Hillsborough Hospital public grand opening from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Commissioner Jacobs asked Bonnie Hammersley if the Eubanks Solid Waste Convenience Center site is going to close in July. Bonnie Hammersley said that has not been decided and the value engineering study is being completed now.
