CARRBORO HIGH SCHOOL WOMEN'S SOCCER TEAM <br /> WINNING THE 2015 STATE CHAMPIONSHIP <br /> WHEREAS, on May 30, 2015, the Carrboro High School Women's Soccer Team captured the <br /> North Carolina High School Athletic Association's (NCHSAA) 2A State <br /> Women's Soccer Championship; and, <br /> WHEREAS, under the guidance of Coach Jared Drexler, the Carrboro High School Women's <br /> Soccer Team earned its second NCHSAA State title, also winning the State <br /> title in 2012; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Lady Jaguars completed the season with a 21-0-1 record, giving up only two <br /> goals the entire season, earning an NCHSAA record for the fewest goals <br /> allowed in a season; and, <br /> WHEREAS, through hard work, dedication, teamwork, and commitment, the Lady Jaguars <br /> brought honor upon themselves, Carrboro High School, the Chapel Hill / <br /> Carrboro City Schools District and Orange County; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, be it proclaimed that the Orange County Board of Commissioners <br /> expresses its sincere appreciation and respect for the Carrboro High School <br /> Women's Soccer Team and Coach Drexler for the Jaguars' outstanding <br /> achievement, and their inspiration to youth across North Carolina through their <br /> dedication, teamwork, and athletic prowess. <br /> This, the 16th day of June, 2015 <br /> Coach Drexler introduced his team. <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Rich, seconded by Commissioner Burroughs for <br /> the Board to approve the proclamation recognizing the Carrboro High School Women's Soccer <br /> Team for winning the 2015 State Championship and authorize the Chair to sign the <br /> proclamation on behalf of the Board. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 5. Public Hearings <br /> a. Unified Development Ordinance Text Amendment — Impervious Surface <br /> Regulations (No Additional Public Comments Accepted) <br /> The Board considered: 1. Receiving the Planning Board's recommendation; 2. Closing <br /> the public hearing; 3.
