Motor Vehicle Property Tax Releases/Refunds <br /> The Board adopted a resolution, which is incorporated by reference, to release motor vehicle <br /> property tax values for eight (8) taxpayers with a total of nine (9) bills that will result in a <br /> reduction of revenue in the amount of$2,705.94 to Orange County, the towns, and school and <br /> fire districts. Financial impact year to date for FY 2014-2015 is $41,663.01. <br /> c. Appointment of Four(4) Deputy Tax Collectors <br /> The Board reappointed Valerie Curry, Bernice Gwynn, Linda Jaubert, and Bobbie Underwood <br /> as Orange County Deputy Tax Collectors for two-year terms effective July 1, 2015. <br /> d. Fiscal Year 2014-15 Budget Amendment#9 <br /> The Board approved budget and grant project ordinance amendments for fiscal year 2014-15 <br /> for Department on Aging; Library Services; County Manager's Office; Health Department; <br /> Animal Services Department; and Visitors Bureau Fund. <br /> e. Professional Services Agreement -Website Consulting, Content Management <br /> Solutions and Customer Relations Management with Simpleview, LLC <br /> The Board approved a professional services agreement with Simpleview, a national Visitors <br /> Bureau website developer for the development of a new state-of-the-art travel website that will <br /> allow the Orange County Visitors Bureau to bundle multiple on-line services being managed by <br /> several vendors into a comprehensive website that maximizes spending by visitors, and <br /> authorized the Manager to sign the agreement and any future amendments. <br /> f. Request for Road Addition to the State Maintained Secondary Road System (Ben <br /> Wilson Road Extension — SR 1140), and Secondary Road Abandonment (Ben Wilson <br /> Road, SR 1140, Partial) <br /> The Board made a recommendation to the North Carolina Department of Transportation <br /> (NCDOT) and the North Carolina Board of Transportation (NC BOT) on a petition to add Ben <br /> Wilson Road Extension — SR 1140 (partial) and approved a resolution, which is incorporated <br /> by reference, requesting the abandonment of Ben Wilson Road — SR 1140 (partial). <br /> g.
