3 <br /> 1 WINNING THE 2015 STATE CHAMPIONSHIP <br /> 2 <br /> 3 <br /> 4 WHEREAS, on May 30, 2015, the Carrboro High School Women's Soccer Team captured the <br /> 5 North Carolina High School Athletic Association's (NCHSAA) 2A State <br /> 6 Women's Soccer Championship; and, <br /> 7 <br /> 8 WHEREAS, under the guidance of Coach Jared Drexler, the Carrboro High School Women's <br /> 9 Soccer Team earned its second NCHSAA State title, also winning the State <br /> 10 title in 2012; and, <br /> 11 <br /> 12 WHEREAS, the Lady Jaguars completed the season with a 21-0-1 record, giving up only two <br /> 13 goals the entire season, earning an NCHSAA record for the fewest goals <br /> 14 allowed in a season; and, <br /> 15 <br /> 16 WHEREAS, through hard work, dedication, teamwork, and commitment, the Lady Jaguars <br /> 17 brought honor upon themselves, Carrboro High School, the Chapel Hill / <br /> 18 Carrboro City Schools District and Orange County; <br /> 19 <br /> 20 NOW, THEREFORE, be it proclaimed that the Orange County Board of Commissioners <br /> 21 expresses its sincere appreciation and respect for the Carrboro High School <br /> 22 Women's Soccer Team and Coach Drexler for the Jaguars' outstanding <br /> 23 achievement, and their inspiration to youth across North Carolina through their <br /> 24 dedication, teamwork, and athletic prowess. <br /> 25 <br /> 26 This, the 16th day of June, 2015 <br /> 27 <br /> 28 Coach Drexler introduced his team. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 A motion was made by Commissioner Rich, seconded by Commissioner Burroughs for <br /> 31 the Board to approve the proclamation recognizing the Carrboro High School Women's Soccer <br /> 32 Team for winning the 2015 State Championship and authorize the Chair to sign the <br /> 33 proclamation on behalf of the Board. <br /> 34 <br /> 35 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 36 <br /> 37 5. Unified Development Ordinance Text Amendment — Impervious Surface <br /> 40 Regulations (No Additional Public Comments Accepted) <br /> 41 The Board considered: 1. Receiving the Planning Board's recommendation; 2. Closing <br /> 42 the public hearing; 3. Deliberating as necessary on the proposed amendments; and 4.
