Society
o NOR 111 (: ;R(_)I.,i'N.A
Orange/Chatham Chapter
May 8, 2015
Dear Barbara,
It was a pleasure to work with you over the past year to plan programming in the local
community to increase autism awareness. I enjoyed participating in the panel
discussion at FRANK gallery in October 2014 that your organization, FRANK: InFocus,
sponsored on the role of arts in advocating for the disability community. Moreover, the
events for April Autism Awareness month were excellent thanks to your leadership and
coordination. I was impressed by the Art Show at FRANK by artists on the spectrum. I
believe it both educated the community on the possible gifts of individuals with autism
while also directly educating people about autism. The postcards you created that
advertised your Diversability show as well as all our other local events were beautiful,
and I do believe they enhanced attendance at all of our events.
I hope that we can continue to work together to provide programming for individuals with
autism and to educate the broader local community about autism!
Sincerely,
Amy Fowler
Board Leader, ASNCOC
