ORANGE COUNTY FIRE RESCUE STUDY <br />NEW HOPE <br />1 As can be seen, the Department borders the neighboring fire districts of Eno, <br />2 Orange Rural (Hillsborough), Orange Grove, and the Towns of Chapel Hill and <br />3 Carrboro. The Department provides mutual aid to each of these departments on <br />4 any significant incidents, and responds under the new multi-department response <br />5 protocol with these departments as well. The District also borders Durham County <br />6 and in fact has a Fire Tax District and protection responsibilities for that district as <br />7 well.
