These pose potential vehicle aca.dent and <br />hazardous material incident exposures. Other risks are primarily related to the <br />agricultural nature of the community: barn fires, wildland fires, farm machinery <br />accidents, and other structure fires. <br />Current Apparatus <br />Station 1 <br />- 2002 International KME Pumper- - <br />Tanker with 1,000 gallon tank; <br />1,250 gpm pump <br />- 1979 Ford F700 FMC Tanker with <br />1,250 gallon tank with 450 gpm <br />discharge; 2,500 gallon drop tank <br />- .1986 Ford 350 4 wheel drive <br />Brush Truck with 200 gpm pump <br /> <br />Station 2 <br />2002 International KME Pumper- <br />Tanker with 1,000 gallon tank; <br />1,250 gpm pump <br />1979 Ford F700 FMC Tanker with <br />1,250 gallon tank with 450 gpm <br />discharge; 2,500 gallon drop tank <br />- 1979 Ford 350 4 wheel drive <br />Brush Truck with 200 gpm pump <br />- 1985 Chevrolet Van (First <br />Responder Vehicle with EMS <br />equipment, cascade air system, <br />and extrication hand tools <br />With this complement of apparatus the Department has the capacity to provide <br />4,500 gallons of water at the scene of a structure fire, well within the standards of <br />rural water supply, especially given the additional water shuttle capacity with <br />mutual aid departments. <br />21 <br />
