First, it corrects the previous <br /> inclusion of professional services within the construction line item <br /> by establishing a separate line. Second, it adds funds from contingency <br /> to construction to cover several change orders that have been made <br /> in accordance with board authorization since the original ordinance. <br /> The contingency results from the grant from the Older American's <br /> Act. I would note that the funds for professional services also <br /> cover the jail contract, <br /> ORANGE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA <br /> COUNTY OFFICE BUILDINGS <br /> PROJECT ORDINANCE AMENDMENT <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Orange County Board of, Commissioners, <br /> that the County Office Buildings Project Ordinance adopted the 4tft <br /> day of June 1979, is amended as follows: <br /> (Decreased) <br /> Appropriations Increased To Total <br /> Professional Services 53,856 53,856 <br /> Construction (38,689) 1,948,016 <br /> Contingencies (15,725) 8,745 <br /> This ordinance shall be entered into the minutes of the Board of <br /> Commissioners of Orange County, and copies of the ordinance will be <br /> filed with the Finance Officer, the Budget Officer, and the Clerk <br /> to the Baord within five days of its adoption. <br />
