STATEMENT OF THE RESULTS <br /> of the <br /> SPECIAL BOND REFERENDUM <br /> held in the <br /> COUNTY Or ORANGE, NORTH CAROL?:-:A <br /> on November 6, 1979 <br /> UPON THE QUESTIONS Or APPROVI.:G $20,400,000 BONDS <br /> At a special bond referendum held in the County of <br /> Orange on November 6, 1.979, 34 754 voters were registered and <br /> qualified to vote. <br /> At said referendums 3.JJJ votes were cast for the order <br /> adopted on August 27, 1979, authorizing not exceedin, <br /> $400,000 Health Care Facilities Bonds of the County of <br /> Orange, North Carolina, for the purpose cf providing furies, <br /> with any other available funds, for additional and Imprcved <br /> health care facilities for said County, including the reno- <br /> vation of an existing County bud-!ding to Provide a day <br /> hospital for out-patient ;.rental realth services, the cons- <br /> truction of a sheltered workshop for handicapped and retarded <br /> residents of said Count.} to replace an existing facility <br /> and the acquisition of any necessary land, furnishings and <br /> equipment therefor, and authorising the levy of saxes in an <br /> amount sufficient to pay the prfncipal of and the interest <br /> on said bonds, and 423 votes were cast against said order, <br /> and a majority of the qualified voters of said County who <br /> voted thereon at said referendum haling voted against <br /> the approval of said order, said order was therebv not <br /> approved. <br /> At said referendum 4,356 votes were cast for the order <br /> adopted an August 27, 1979, 'au;horizing :-,oz exceeding <br /> 0,065,000 Public Building Bends of the County of Orange, <br />
