Section 1. The Board of commissioners for the County <br /> of Orange., having received from the County Board of Elec- <br /> tions of Grange County a certified copy of the proceedings <br /> of said Board of Elections taken on November 8, 1979, evi- <br /> dencing said Board's determination of the results of the <br /> canvass of the returns of the special bond referendum, held <br /> in the County of Orange on November 6, 1979 upon the ques- <br /> tions of approving $400,000 Health Care Facilities Bonds, <br /> $2,065,000 Public Building Bonds, $17,600,000 School Bonds <br /> and $135,000 Voting Machine Bonds of said County, does <br /> hereby declare and certify the results of said referendum to <br /> be the results which are set forth in the following state- <br /> ment of the results of said referendum,, which statement has <br /> been prepared by said Board of Commissioners: <br /> STATEMENT OF TFE RESULTS <br /> of the <br /> SPENTAL BOMB REFFRENDUM <br /> held in the <br /> COUNTY OF ORANGE, NORITH CFROLIINA <br /> on November 6, 1979 <br /> LP0I� THE Q'JESTIONS OF APPROVING $20,400,000 BO:;Ew <br /> At a special bond referendums: held in the Coun-v of <br /> Orange on November 6, 1979,34,754 voters were registered and <br /> auaiified to vote. <br /> At said referendum 5,693 votes were cast for the order <br /> adopted on August 27, 1979, authorizing riot exceeding <br /> $400,000 Health Care Facilities Bonds of the County of <br /> Orange, North Carolina, for the purpose of providing funds, <br /> with any other available funds, for additional and improved <br /> health care facilities for said County, including. the reno- <br /> vation of an existing County building to provide a day <br /> hospital for out-patient mental health services, the cons- <br /> truction of a sheltered workshop for handicapped and retarded <br /> residents of said County to replace an existing facility <br />
