November 14, 1979 <br /> SUBJECT: Budget Amendments <br /> The attached budget amendments are submitted for your consideration. <br /> Concerning the Planning item, see the memo attached from Jim <br /> Polatty. No new funds are required. <br /> Health items are new funds granted by the state for family plan- <br /> ning and for an immunization program. See letter attached to Local <br /> Health Director. No local funds are required. <br /> For recreation items, see attached memo from Wayne .Weston. <br /> The Community Based Alternative Funds are funds that were erron- <br /> eously credited to Orange County at year end but should have been <br /> payable to the 0-P-C Mental Health Program for the Phillips Project. <br /> The erroneous credit resulted in increased fund balance and conse- <br /> quently this amendment Proposes removing the needed amount from <br /> fund balance. <br /> The public works director is requesting $650 to be transferred <br /> from the Tire account to permit him and one other individual to <br /> attend an out-of-state training session sponsored by the American <br /> Public Works Association on preventive maintenance of vehicles. <br /> There were no training funds originally budgeted for the motor pool. <br />
