AGENDA ITEM i# 13 <br /> Revised 15.2.3 (Amendment Procedure): to read as follows, <br /> 10/15/79 If the amendment petition proposes an amendment to the zoning <br /> 10/29/79 map, the Zoning officer shall post on any affected property a <br /> notice of the public hearing at least 10 days prior to the <br /> date of said hearing. However, no posting of specific <br /> property by the Zoning officer shall be required if (a) the <br /> Zoning Ordinance is proposed to be extended or applied to an <br /> area of the County that is not subject to zoning at the <br /> time of the petition, or if (b) the proposed amendments to <br /> the Zoning Map are part of a comprehensive revision to the <br /> Zoning Ordinance that applies to at least one entire township <br /> in the County. If (a) and/or (b) above applies, the Zoning <br /> Officer shall post a minimum of four (,4) signs per area or , <br /> township, with locations of signs approved by the Planning '9oArd;. <br /> Revised 8.1.3 (Existing Extractive Uses): to read as follows; <br /> 9/17/79 Any extractive use whose operations were begun prior to the <br /> date the property was made subject to this ordinance which is <br /> located in a zoning district where extractive uses are not <br /> permitted shall be deemed a non-conforming use and shall. be <br /> subject to the provisions of Section 12 of this ordinance. <br /> Any extractive use operation begun prior to the date the <br /> property was made subject to this ordinance and which is <br /> located in a zoning district where extractive uses are permitted <br /> subject to the issuance of an extractive use permit of a <br /> limited extractive use permit shall be deemed a conforming use. <br /> Revised 9.1.2 ('Existing Extractive Use Processing Operations): to read <br /> as follows: <br /> 9/17/79 Any extractive use processing operation begun prior to the <br /> date the property was made subject to this ordinance which <br /> is located in a zoning district where extractive use processing <br /> operations are not permitted shall be deemed a non--conforming <br /> use and shall be subject to the provisions of Section 12 of <br /> this ordinance. Any extractive use processing operation begun <br /> prior to the date the property was made subject to this ordinance <br /> and which is located in a zoning district where extractive use <br /> processing operations are permitted subject to the issuance <br /> of an extractive use processing operations are permitted subject <br /> to the issuance of an extractive use processing permit or <br /> a limited extractive use permit shall be deemed a conforming use.. <br /> Revised 12.2 (Non-Conforming Uses): to react as follows: <br /> 9/17/79 Uses of land which do not conform to the requirements of this <br /> ordinance or amendments to it may not be enlarged or expanded; <br /> neither shall the use be intensified, nor altered, except in <br /> conformance with this ordinance. <br />
