AGENDA ITEM # 4 <br /> The attached CETA Amendment is for the purpose of opening the 1979-80 <br /> CETA budget categories by the Commissioners and to reflect changes due to <br /> program experience. A brief summary shows an increase of $27,259 from last <br /> years total CETA budget of $1,369,244. The changes are as follows: <br /> CETA Title I: No change to the total grant amount. Requested changes <br /> to rpbudget to reflect experience in program activity. <br /> CETA Title II: Reduced by $116,866 for that portion of the program <br /> that was completed and closed out in the 1978-79 year. <br /> CETA Title III YCCIP: No change to the total grant amount. Rebudgeting <br /> to reflect experience in program activity. <br /> CETA Title III YETP: Reduced by $23,000 to de-obligate the- program for <br /> participant salaries that will not be used by 9/30/79. <br /> CETA Title IV: To approve the summer program budget in the 1979-80 year. <br /> CETA Title VI: Reduced by $145,074 for that portion of the program <br /> that was completed and closed out in the 1978-79 year. <br /> CETA Title VI Durham County: To approve the budget for the contract for <br /> CETA workers located at the Durham County site. <br /> CETA Title VI CHHA: To approve the budget for the contract for CETA <br /> workers located at the Chapel Hill Housing Authority site. <br /> This amendment does not increase the allowable administrative nor services <br /> costs. Administrative costs include $10,000 additional indirect cost charge <br /> earned by the County for administration of the CETA program. The cost plan <br /> is currently pending approval from area office. <br />
