Mr. en Lloyd asked what would happen to extractive uses that <br /> ` . might occur after adoption of the amendment. <br /> 10. Mr. Robert Earl , Bingham Township Advisory Council , expressed his <br /> 11• concern th t extension of the zoning ordinance was being rushed through. <br /> Z2. The <br /> epresentative of' American Stone asked whether American Stone <br /> 13. would receive notice of whether or not it was non--conforming before <br /> 14- the issue olf extension of the zoning ordinance comes to public hearing. <br /> 15. Mr. B. B. Olive suggested contacting a State geologist and researching <br /> :L6. geology publications which could identify where all minerals were located <br /> 1�• within the County. <br /> 1B• <br /> Mrs. Alice Durham expressed her concern about receiving better <br /> 19. 1 of these processes so that citizens could have an opportunity <br /> 20° to give more input. <br /> 21• Mr. B. B. Olive asked whether the University of North Carolina <br /> 22. owned property relating to extractive uses and whether special consideration <br /> 23. of <br /> University property would be made. He asked whether University property would <br /> 24- be subject to the ordinance. <br /> 25. Mr. Ben Lloyd asked about quarries not currently in operation. <br /> 26. There Bing no further comments about the proposed amendment to <br /> 27 Section 8.1.3, Dr. Sonar called for comments on the proposed amendment to <br /> 28. Section 9.1.21.
