Describe the methodology used by the Torras and the Couiay.
c, Establish a zone, ringing each Town's, present extraterri-
torial area, there house numpers would be assigned jointly
by the To%ms and the County , Table 4 and Map R which
follow indicate possible boundaries of the proposed zones.
d. List all thoroughfares which cut across governmental juris-
dictions and specify the house numbering system which will
apply to the properties located along them.
1. The Toren of Hillsborough is the only exception to this, It assigns
numbers only to property within its corporate limits since it has no
extraterritorial area at this time_
2. These zones would be similar in concept and size to the Joint Plauning
Areas proposed by this Department. }loll`~ numbers ui t hi n each zone imuld
be based on the adjacent i0',lfr'5 1ruuS e riumbi?i''ll'Ig SySI:ml 1;ut 1'i;i1lG k is$.-
signed by the Orange County (load Naming Program Coo dinntor. ;lc';rever,
no zone ringing Hillsborough Mould be required since there would he no
conflict between the Town's and the County's systems.
