RESOLUTION REQUESTING AND APPROVING i <br /> AN EXTENSION OF EXTRATERRITORIAL PLANNING j <br /> JURISDICTION <br /> i <br /> The Board of Commissioners for the County of Orange, <br /> North Carolina, and the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill, North <br /> Carolina, met in the Meeting Room of the Chapel Hill Municipal <br /> Building, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, the regular place of <br /> meeting of the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill, at 4:00 P.M., <br /> i <br /> i <br /> on July 3, 1979. <br /> The following resolution was read to the Board and <br /> Council: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for the ! <br /> County of Orange and the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill, <br /> North Carolina: <br /> Section I. The Town of Chapel Hill, after due consider- <br /> ation of the present and future planning needs of the Town, has <br /> determined that it can now, or in the future, provide urban <br /> services to the area described in Section II and that there is <br /> now and will be in the future a demand by the inhabitants of <br /> the area for urban services. Further, the inhabitants of the I( <br /> area are thought to be oriented generally towards the Town of <br /> Chapel Hill for employment, services, recreation and the like. <br /> Section II. The Town of Chapel Hill, by this <br /> Resolution, pursuant.to N. C. Gen.
