We would again make the point that <br /> these improvements are needed to solve local and regional traffic problems while <br /> interstate construction brings on more problems than will be eliminated. <br /> The requst is that I-40 be deleted from the current seven year Highway <br /> Improvement rogram and that improvements to NC 86 and four laning of <br /> 54 east of Chapel Hill be included. <br />
