Gattis, County Manager <br /> FROM: Orange County Planning Department <br /> DATE: May 1, 1979 <br /> RE: Planning Board Resolution On Five Acre Zoning in <br /> University Lake Watershed <br /> 'This case was referred to the Planning Board for their consideration <br /> at the April 25th meeting of the Planning Board. <br /> The Planning Board resolution: Mr. Caldwell moved that the Planning Board <br /> defer action on discussion of the Commissioner's directive to consider five <br /> acre zoning in Stater supply watersheds as a Crater protection measure until <br /> such time as the Planning staff can present more information on the economic <br /> impact of such zoning and can study information provided by the State's 'rater <br /> quality monitoring station located on Morgan Creek. Mr. Greer asked that the <br /> motion be amended to state that the Planning Board finds no cause at the present <br /> time to support i`iyp acre residential zoning. Mr. Caldwell agreed to the amend- <br /> ment. Mr. Wilson seconded the motion as amended and it carried unanimously. <br />
