Box 1304 <br /> Chapel Hill, N X. 27514 <br /> may 2, 1979 <br /> Mr. Sam Gattis <br /> County Manager <br /> Orange County <br /> Hillsborough, N.C. <br /> Dear Mr. Gattis: <br /> The APS Shelter Committee plans to use the following fee structure <br /> for initial shelter operation. 'These fees may be changed later <br /> based on our operating e:cperience with the shelter. <br /> Dog or cat daily boarding charge $ 2.00 <br /> Redemption fee 5.00 <br /> Ordinance violation -- fine 15.00 actual amount of fine <br /> Adoption fee--' 5.00 <br /> -- A deposit of 51.0 for cats or $15 for dogs is <br /> also required for unspayed or unneutered animals. <br /> This deposit is to be refunded after the neutering <br /> or spaying takes place. <br /> As discussed with the County Commissioners, the redemption fees and <br /> any fines collected frill revert to the county. Also, any money <br /> received from s,:Iling licences will also go to the county.
