S.0 FEES page B 5.1 Ado2tion Fees: 5.1,1 All animals whether they be dogs, puppies, kitterss or cats will have the same adoption fee. 5.1.2 This flat rate fee will be paid at the time of adoption. The total fees are $20.00 for dogs and $1.5.00 for cats. This would include: $ 5.00 adoption fee $15.00 neutering deposit for dogs $10.00 neutering deposit for cats 5.1.3 Veterinarians will receive paymant from the shelter by returning the neutering certificate which the owner will. present when they bring their animal in for neutering. 5.2 Redemption/BoardingFees. 5.2.1 Boarding fees will be paid at a per diem rate after first day held. A redemption fee will also be charged (which is separate from the boarding fee) to cover the cost of animal while in the custody of the shelter. This fee will be paid irregardless of the length of time the animal is held at the shelter. Fees: $5.00-Redemption fee; $2,00-per diem Boarding fee. Ordinance violations are additional to these fees,. 5.3 License Fees: 5.3.1 city or county tag fees are to be charged in addition to the adoption fees. 5,3.2 Monies will be collected by the shelter personnel, according to the present ordinance, when unlicensed animals are redeemed. A system will be devised so collected monies can be sent to the City of Chapel Hill and Orange County. 5.4 Rabies Fees: 5.4.1 Dogs held for the 10 day quarantine at the shelter will be charged the boarding fee of $2.00 per day or $20.00 for the ten-day stay. 5.5 All fees (adoption, redemption/boarding, license, rabies) must be paid before any animal can be released from the shelter.
