i� <br /> } <br /> 4 <br /> y <br /> 4 <br /> i <br /> MINUTES <br /> ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> MARCH 21, 1979 <br /> The Board of Commissioners and the OWASA Board met in 'special session <br /> on Wednesday, March 21, 1979, at 12:00 p.m. , in the Board Room, of <br /> the Carrboro Town Hall , in Carrboro, North Carolina. <br /> Commissioners present: Commissioner Richard Whitted, Chairman, <br /> and Commissioners Anne Barnes, Don Willhoit, and Norman Gustaveson. <br /> Commissioners absent: Commissioner Norman Walker. <br /> Members present from OWASA Board: Ms. Flo Garrett, Chairperson, <br /> and Mr. Braxton Foushee, Mr. Paul Morris, Ms. Betty Sanders, Mr. Earnest <br /> Patterson, Mr. Tom Scharf, Mr. Bob Epting and Mr. Chuck Antle. <br /> OWASA Board requested the meeting to discuss the county's interest <br /> in working with OWASA in finding additional water resources. <br /> Ms. Garrett said OWASA would furnish the Commissioners an update <br /> on water resource plans. She also said the OWASA Board would meet to <br /> discuss specific requests and then report back to the Commissioners. <br /> The Board of Commissioners took no official action at this meeting. <br /> The meeting was adjourned at 1:35 p.m. <br /> Richard Whitted, Chairman <br /> Mary Lou Bouley <br /> Clerk to the Board <br /> i <br />
