March 20, 1979 <br /> RE: Planning Board recommendation on a petition by certain Orange <br /> County residents to the City of Durham requesting the extension <br /> of water lines from Durham into Eno Township a distance of 3000 <br /> feet along t!. S. 70 <br /> This case was referred to the Planning Board for their consideration <br /> at the March 19, 1979 meeting of the Planning Board. <br /> The Planning Board recommends: A motion was made that the Planning <br /> Board recommend to the County Commissioners that they support the petitioner's <br /> request that the City of Durham extend tinter service 3000 feet into Orange <br /> County. The motion further stated that if water and sewer lines are in- <br /> stalled, they have sufficient reserve capacity to serve the area west of <br /> the I-85 - U. S. 70 intersection in the future. The motion was approved <br /> unanimously b y the Planning Board. <br />
