Section 8 - USE OF COUNTY SOLID WASTE CC3,72A:TMMS <br /> Persons using the County Solid Waste Containers Must <br /> comply Witt' the .following rules for depositing household <br /> solid waste in these containers. <br /> A. Household solid wastes must be bagged before it is <br /> placed in containers. <br /> B. Burning or flammable material cannot be placed in <br /> containers. <br /> C. Heavy objects are not allowed in containers. <br /> D. No building material, bricks, lumber, tree trimmings, <br /> stumps, logs, animal carcasses, animal. wastes,. <br /> appliances, furniture, autos, auto parts, industrial <br /> wastes, agricultural wastes and the like shall be <br /> placed in containers. This type material shall be <br /> taken to the County Landfill or otherwise disposed <br /> of in accordance with this ordinance. <br /> E. Solid Waste shall not be dumped on top of the <br /> container or on the ground around the container. <br /> Violation of any of the above provisions shad. constitute <br /> a violation of this ordinance. <br /> Section 9 - PENALTY <br /> A. Pursuant to Articles G and 1.5, Chapter 153A of the <br /> General. Statutes of Forth Carolina and this Edgecombe County <br /> Ordinance each violation of any part of this ordinance will <br /> constitute a separate offense and any person in violation of <br /> the ordinance shall be punished by a fine not exceeding <br /> fifty dollars ($50.00) or imprisonment not exceeding thirty <br /> (30) days, or both, for each offense, And each day's continuing <br /> violation shall he a separate and distinct offense. <br /> B. In addition to the provisions of the foregoing <br /> Subsection this ordinance may be enforced by an appropriate <br /> equitable remedy as authorizers by any of the p':ov.isions of <br /> G. S. 1.53A--123. <br />
