RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE ORANGE COUNTY HUMAN SERVICES ADVISORY <br /> COW41 S S I ON <br /> The Board of Commissioners for Orange. County, North <br /> Carolina, met in regular session at the Commissioner's Room at <br /> the County Courthouse in Hillsborough, North Carolina, the <br /> regular place of meeting at 10:00 A.M on February 5 1979 <br /> Present: Chairman, Richard E. whitted, presiding, and <br /> Commissioners Norman Custaveson, Don Willhoit, Anne Barnes, and Norman <br /> Walker <br /> Absent: None I <br /> BE IT RESOLVES] by the Board of Commissioners for Orange <br /> County: <br /> Section I. In order to plan for, evaluate, strengthen and <br /> coordinate the activities and functions of the many and varied <br /> human service efforts existing within Orange County, a need <br /> exists to establish the ORANGE COUNTY HUMAN SERVICES ADVISORY <br /> COMMISSION. <br /> Section II. The COMPASSION shall function in an advisory <br /> capacity providing counsel to the agencies, commissions, and other <br /> entities within the County which provide funding for human <br /> services. It is hoped that this advice and counsel will assist <br /> and encourage effective delivery of these services to the people <br /> of Orange County in the most resource-efficient manner. <br /> Section III. There is hereby created and established the <br /> ORANGE COUNTY HUMAN SERVICES ADVISORr COMMISSION, <br /> Section IV.
