1 V <br /> A meeting of the Board of Commissioners of Orange <br /> County, North Carolina, was held at Hillsborough, North Carolina, <br /> the regular place of meeting at 10:00 O'clock A. M. , on the <br /> 6th day of February , 19 79 . <br /> Present: Chairman Richard E. Whitted and Commissioners <br /> Anne Barnes, Don Willhoit, Norman N alker and Norman Gustaveson <br /> Absent: None <br /> The following resolution was read to the Board: <br /> PRELIMINARY ASSESSMENT RESOLUTION FOR THE FINANCING <br /> BY ORANGE COUNTY OF THE LOCAL SHARE OF THE COSTS OF <br /> PAVING NORTH CAROLINA STATE ROAD #1819, ALSO KNOWN <br /> AS ADAM'S PLACE, NORTH CAROLINA STATE ROAD #1820, <br /> ALSO KNOWN AS JEFFERSON DRIVE, NORTH CAROLINA STATE <br /> ROAD #1821, ALSO KNOWN AS WASHINGTON DRIVE, AND NORTH <br /> CAROLINA STATE ROAD #1822, ALSO KNOWN AS KENNEDY <br /> CIRCLE, IN ENO TOWNSHIP, ORANGE COUNTY, NORTH <br /> CAROLINA. <br /> WHEREAS the Board of County Commissioners of Orange <br /> County has received a petition requesting the paving of North <br /> Carolina State Road #1819, also known as Adam's Place, North <br /> Carolina State Road 01820, also known as Jefferson Drive, North <br /> Carolina State Road 41821, also known as Washington Drive, and <br /> nortfi.Carolina State Road 41822, also known as Kennedy Circle, <br /> in Eno Township, Orange County, North Carolina, which petition <br /> has been signed by at least seventy-five percent (75%) of the <br /> owners of property adjoining the said roads, which property <br /> represents at least seventy-five percent (75%) of the lineal <br /> feet of frontage of the lands abutting the said roads, pursuant <br /> to North Carolina General Statute 5153A--205(c) ; and <br /> WHEREAS the Board of County Commissioners of Orange <br /> County has elected to finance the local share of the costs <br /> of paving the said roads, as permitted by North Carolina General <br /> Statute §153A--185(4) and as Provided for in North <br /> Carolina General Statute 5153A-205(a) . <br /> COLEMAN BERNHOLZ <br /> &.DjcVX SON IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED THAT; <br /> ATTORNEYS AT LAW <br /> CHAPEL HILL,N,C. <br /> H1LLSSOR000H,N.C. 1.
