AGENDA ATTACHMENT I �f•�'�7 /�� <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> WHEREAS, th Orange County Board of Commissioners has requested the <br /> North Carol na Department of Transportation to provide eighty-two <br /> percent (82%} of the cost of the following public transportation <br /> project: <br /> Orange Coun .y Human Services Transportation Studies at an estimated <br /> cost of $1b 500, of which the non-State cost amounts to eighteen percent <br /> {180} ; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Or nge County desires to provide the non-State cost of the above <br /> described public transportation project; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Chairman of the Orange <br /> County Boar' of Commissioners be and is hereby authorized and empowered <br /> to enter into a contract with the Department of Transporation aswmay be <br /> ` necessary to effectuate the aforesaid expressed purpose, thereby binding <br /> the said Orange County to the fulfillment of its obligations incurred under <br /> said contract and this resolution, <br />
