751 <br /> THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR THE <br /> COUNTY OF ORANGE, NORTH CAROLINA <br /> Notice of Intention to Create Authority <br /> The Board of Commissioners for the County of Orange, North Carolina, <br /> met in regular session at the Commissioners' Room at the County Courthouse <br /> in Hillsborough, North Carolina, the regular place of meeting at 7:30 P.M., <br /> on October 23, 1978. <br /> Present: Chairman Richard E. Whitted presiding, and Commissioners <br /> Donald Willhoit, Norman Gustaveson, Norman Walker and Jan Pinney. <br /> Absent: None <br /> Also present: Geoffrey Gledhill, County Attorney, and Mary Lou Bouley, Clerk. <br /> Commissioner Jan Pinney introduced the following resolution which was <br /> read: <br /> RESOLUTION DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF <br /> NOTICE OF INTENTION OF BOARD OF <br /> COMMISSIONERS TO CREATE AN INDUSTRIAL <br /> FACILITIES AND POLLUTION CONTROL <br /> FINANCING AUTHORITY <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for the County of Orange: <br /> Section 1. The Board of Commissioners has determined to create by <br /> resolution a political subdivision and body corporate and politic of the <br /> State of North Carolina to be known as "The Orange County Industrial <br /> Facilities and Pollution Control Financing Authority" (the "Authority") <br /> pursuant to the provisions of Article V, Section 9 of the Constitution of <br /> North Carolina and Chapter 159C of the General Statutes of North Carolina <br /> (the "Act"). <br />
