78 <br /> the zoning rules and regulations presently in effect in the <br /> County's Zoning Regulations. <br /> Section IV. orange County, recognizing the planning <br /> needs of the Town of Chapel Hill as set forth above and further <br /> recognizing that the extension area has been designated by the <br /> County as a developed transition and rural transition area in <br /> the County's duly approved and adopted Land Classification system <br /> for Chapel Hill Township, pursuant to N. C. Gen. Stat_ §160A-360 <br /> (g) , hereby approves, conditioned upon the adoption by the Town <br /> of Chapel Hill of the Resolutions set forth in Section 11 and <br /> Section III herein, the extension of the planning jurisdiction of <br /> the Town of Chapel Hill to include an area north of the Town's <br /> existing planning jurisdiction and more particularly described as <br /> above and as follows: <br /> Beginning at a point in the existing boundary line <br /> separating the planning jurisdiction of the Tom of Chapel Hill <br /> and Orange County 500 feet generally west of the western right- <br /> of-way of North Carolina Highway 86 and measured along a line <br /> perpendicular to North Carolina 86; thence a line parallel to <br /> North Carolina 86 generally north and at every point lying 500 <br /> feet generally west of North Carolina 86 and measured along a <br /> line perpendicular to North Carolina 86 to its intersection with <br /> the soutern boundary of the Duke Power Company easement that <br /> crosses North Carolina 86 approximately 750 feet north of weaver <br /> Dairy Road (N. -C.
