In effect, the vendor agreements are a type <br /> of contract and it would appear that the county conmd,ssioners (correction added) <br /> are the authoAzed representative for contracting in this county. Vormally the <br /> County Director of Social Services would probably be the authorized representative <br /> as he�}isadministratively responsible for the Social Services Department. (authorit, <br /> GS 108--19)." <br /> Vendor purchase agreements are used in the purchase; by the agency on behalf of <br /> e-Ugible clients; day care, transportation for day care, and abortion services. <br /> The State Titl� XX plan contains 42 discreet services. Certifications of <br /> eligibility (to purchase) are sent each client and each vendor as notice of the <br /> clients el gg bi-lity. <br /> Proposed actio by County Commissioners: <br /> Motion -- The 0 ange County Social Services Director is designated to sign as <br /> "authorized re esentative" all vendor purchase agreements, vendor purchase <br /> contracts, and all certifications of climbs eligibile for any Title XX service <br /> delivered by t t agency, eligible vendors and/or State initiated or county <br /> contracted Tit e XX services. County Commissioners retain authority to sign off <br /> on county thre part y contracts for Title XX services. <br />
