MEMO T0: Geoffrey Gledhill, County Attorney <br /> FROM: Joe Bradshaw, Administrative Assistant to County Manager <br /> DATE: April 5, 1978 <br /> SUBJECT; Colonial, Hill Paving Project--Charges <br /> In computing the charges for the Colonial Hills Paving Project, <br /> it was decided that the county should recover .Legal and advertising fees <br /> as well as actual paving costs. These fees were figured on a pez• l.ot <br /> basis, and re ulted in an additional, charge of $6.25 per lot.* <br /> The cost of paving per acre (as opposed to front footage) is <br /> $529,05. The percent of acreage of each lot was multiplied by $529,05; <br /> then, $6,25 w s added to each .lot in order to arrive at the final charge. <br /> The tota cost to the county is: <br /> $22,908. `0 -- cost of paving <br /> _ 575.00 - legal and advertising fees <br /> 23,483.©0 - total project cost <br /> The charges,as calculated using the above formula,should ;recover <br /> $23, 7'7 fr,m project participants--23 cents less than the total <br /> county cost, <br /> There are 92 lots. <br />
