Reroof the entire building $5,300.00 <br /> 2. 8" to 12" blown-in insulation $3,380.00 <br /> 3. New ceiling the throughout $4,800.x0 <br /> 4. New gla s, weatherstrip and adjacent <br /> existin windows $2,500,00 <br /> 5. New dou le 3' x 7' doors, weather-stripped <br /> @ close s $ 400.00 <br /> 6. Weather"Strip existing doors and add closers $ 300.00 <br /> 7. New plexiglass storm windows (prevent breakage) $5,000.00 <br /> 8. Rewire and relight the entire building $33,600.00 <br /> 9. New vinyl the floor $9,500.00 <br /> 10. Replace gutters and downspouts $1 ,800.00 <br /> 11 . Replace existing water closets $3,400.00 <br /> 12 New radiator valve handles $ 200.00 <br /> 13. Add twolchildren's toilets $5,500.00 <br /> 14. Replace plumbing waste line with PVC drain <br /> leading from sinks in the dental area $1 ,200.00 <br /> 15. Ventilating fans (2) in holes in the ceiling $1 ,500.00 <br /> 16. Testing and inspecting the boiler $ 160.00 <br /> 17. Removing the bailer and installing a new one <br /> 705,200 btu. net. (This sizing is predicated on - <br /> insulation and storm windows) (see my letter <br /> of date) <br /> $15,000.00 <br /> Items #1 thru #7 are a necessity. Items #8 through #10 are diseriable. <br /> Items #11 thr ugh #17 are general renovations. Of course, outside trim <br /> painting is needed, however, I did not get an estimate on, that. <br /> The building manager is talking about relocating some partitions in the <br /> future. ' Should it be decided to do this work., the build should be fit for <br /> occupancy for several years. <br /> It appears that it will cost approximately $21 ,60(1.00 to get the building <br /> in shape to be occupied with a reasonable heating bill. The remainder, with <br /> rewiring would be approximately $53,380,00. The total bill would be <br /> $75,980.00. This figure does not include fees or inflation. <br /> I trust hat this will give you the inform-ation which you desire.
