Estimated prices were obtained by bon a fide contractors in <br /> each trade. <br /> 1 . The building appears to be sound structurally with masonry walls, wood <br /> framing floor and roof. <br /> 2. The electrical system needs complete renovation because of overloaded <br /> circuit and inadequate lighting. Also appliances in the retired area <br /> and den �al area are overloading main circuits. <br /> 3. The plumbing is generally in fair shape except all water closets are old <br /> model built without seats, Some W.C. 's need to be removed. The building <br /> manager mentioned the need for additional children's toilets near the <br /> kindergarten. <br /> 4. The hea ing problem is caused by the fact that there is no ceiling <br /> insulation and windows have broken glass as well as loose fitting. <br /> There is also a need for storm windows and weatherstripping. <br /> 5. The ceiling the consists of 2' x 41 the nailed to runners on the <br /> underside of ceiling joists. There is evidence of leaking on tiles. <br /> 6. The shingles on the roof must be replaced to cure roof leaks. <br /> 7. The rain ater gutters and down-spouts need replacing as well as the <br /> facia bo rd. <br /> K One doub Ile set of 3' x 7' doors needs to be replaced, with dour closers <br /> and closers need to be installed on the other set. — <br /> 9. Replace 11lumbing drain from dental laboratory area. _ <br /> 10. Ventilating fans should be installed in the two large openings into the <br /> attic space. <br /> 11 . The exis Ing boiler is leaking badly. It should be inspected <br /> and/or replaced, <br />
