Commissioner Gustaveson added that many innocent people in the County <br /> 12, have been abuse by the challengers, that to challenge a persons right to <br /> 13. vote should be I aced on evidences that that person has misinformed, or doeE <br /> 14. not live at certain residency., and etc. <br /> 15. Commission r Gustaveson moved that the Board authorize the County <br /> 16 . Attorney to loo into the possibility of filing a suit against the <br /> 17. challengers to recover cost incurred to the taxpayers of the County. <br /> 18. Commission r Willhoit seconded the motion. <br /> 19 . Commission r Walker stated that was a matter the Board of Commissione <br /> 20 . should not be i volve with. He added this matter was not on the agenda an <br /> 21. this was not the appropriate time to discuss this issue. <br /> 22. Chairman W itted stated it appeared to him that the matter was relati <br /> 23. and declared the motion valid. He then called for a vote on the motion. <br /> 24. Voting aye were Commissioners Gustaveson , Pinney, Whitted and Willhoi <br /> 25 . Voting nay was Commissioner Walker. <br /> 26. The motion was declared passed. <br /> 27. The Chairman recognized William Laws, Tax- Supervisor, who explained <br /> 28. the circumstanc s regarding Item 8 : Request approval of tax refund in the <br /> 29. amount of $109.63 to Donald R. Smith. <br /> 30. Mr. Laws explained that Mr. Smith had purchase the tax lien on an <br /> eight acre tray of land in Cheeks Townwhip which was listed as unknown. <br />
