Discussion ensued. Mme'. Gustaveson stated that some clerical assist- <br /> 8 . ance would be r quired from the County to work with the staff of HSA. <br /> 9 . Commission r Willhoit pointed out there is no mechanism of translatir <br /> 10 . the work of the HSA Board back into the County, and the Councils would pr( <br /> 11. viding that mechanism to relate to the County and to the HSA Board. <br /> 12 . Commission r Gustaveson moved that the Board of Commissioners endorse <br /> 13. the concept of he grange County Health and Medical. Care Advisory Council <br /> 14. as summarized, Ind to charge the Ad Hoc Committee to continue discussion <br /> 15. with more speci is details as to the purpose, function and structure of tf <br /> 16. Council, and to report back to the County Commissioners at a later date. <br /> 17. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Pinney, and all members of <br /> . 18. the Board voted aye to the motion. The motion was declared Passed. <br /> 19 . Item 7 : T e Manager recommends the Board give its tentative approval <br /> 20 . to: A. Social Services Budget for the fiscal year 1978-1979 <br /> 21. B. Titl TV--D Budget for the 1978-1979 fiscal year. <br /> 22 . The Chairman explained that the Board of Commissiners had met with <br /> 23. the Social Services Board on March 23rd and had review the Social. Services <br /> 24. budget in detail . <br /> 25 . Upon motior of Commissioner Pinney, seconded by Commissioner Gustaves <br /> 26. it was moved an adopted to tentatively approve the Social. Services budget <br /> 27. with the condition that the Board has the right to withdraw approval of <br /> 28. any portion of this budget if circumstances dictate this action to be <br /> 29 . necessary. <br /> 30 . The Social Services Director, Tom Ward, -stated his department would <br /> know by May 15t , if this is an acceptable budget. <br />
