AGENDA ATTACHMENT IV CONTINUED <br /> March 17, 1978 <br /> 14emo To: Orange County Board of Commissioners <br /> From: Neal Evans, Finance Director <br /> Subject: Proposed Budget Amendment <br /> The attached proposed budget amendment is to cover four items: <br /> 1) The State Agricultural Extension Service has granted $2,500 to <br /> the County Department for office equipment. This will. be used to replace <br /> duplicating and paper handling equipment at no County cost. <br /> R 2) The Department of Social Services is requesting an additional $2,500 <br /> for. postage to 1) meet additional and <br /> purchasing inoadvance <br /> that will not be require <br /> is to take full advantage of 77-78 Title XX allocation. For balancing purposes, <br /> Title XX Transportation an unitnplemented program is reduced by the sane amount, <br /> $2,500. No new County funds are required. <br /> 3) Rents in departmental budgets are transferred to the Central account <br /> since they do not relate directly to the space these departments are using. <br /> A previously approved item, the industry related sewer project has <br /> been let by the Town of Hillsborough for a total of $7,581 . This amendment <br /> transfers the amount from Contingency. <br />
