RANGH COUNTY PLANNING 1B <br /> FIYT..T.8BQROUGH <br /> N(JRTU CA,ROIANA <br /> February 20, 1978 <br /> MM40RANDUM TO: County Commissioners <br /> FROM: Change C unty Planning Board <br /> SUBJECT: Plann ag Board Consideration of Recommended Changes to Subdivision <br /> Regul tions. <br /> The foll.o ing motion was made by Mrs. Riddle and seconded by Colonel Breeze. <br /> „This Planning Board approves the concept of subdivision regulations for the en- <br /> tire county as one form of land-use planning, and further moves to recommend to <br /> the County Co issioners the establishment of a county-wide committee composed of <br /> no more than three members from each Township Advisory Council and charge this <br /> committee with consolidating all recommended changes, additions, and deletions <br /> to the propose Subdivision Regulations. A deadline of April 15 is established <br /> `r <br /> for the committee to report their findings and recommendations to the Planning <br /> Board. I further move that the Planning Board take mediate steps to evaluate <br /> the recom enda ions and establish a firm recommended position to the County Com- <br /> missioners no later than April 20, 1978, which is the regular meeting of this <br /> board." - <br /> The following amendments which do not require public hearing were recommen- <br /> ded for immedi to action by the Planning Board: <br /> 1.) Move the d f inition of a minor subdivision from page 5 to the definition sec- <br /> tion. <br /> 2.) Add definition of tract - request that the County Attorney develop a de.fini.- <br />
