AGENDA ATTACHMENT III <br /> FUNDING CERTAIN EMS EQUIPMENT THROUGH 1203 PLANNING GRANTS <br /> Funds are currently available to acquire emergency medical services <br /> equipment through the 1203 Equipment Grant Program. A local match is <br /> required if application for 1203 Grants is made. In lieu of actual <br /> cash match the State Office will accent certification that the County <br /> has spent a specific sum for emergency medical services. <br /> Our current budget for Emergency Medical Services exceeds $130,000. <br /> The County Rescue Squads have filed with me a list of their equipment <br /> needs. <br /> I am requesting the County be allowed to certify an expenditure for <br /> emergency medical services in order that this equipment might be obtained <br /> r-ee of local match. Title to the equipment so obtained will rest with <br /> the-County- <br />
