SECTION XXII; REPORTS <br /> The Director o..f Recreation and Parks shall make the golloving reports : (1) Monthly summary <br /> of the unit ' s recreation activities, to the Recreation Council and to the Manager ; (2) A brief <br /> monthly and comprehensive annual community recreation activities report including all phases of <br /> department activity, all department associated and other private and commercial community recrea- <br /> tion activities, to be made to the Recreation _-Co ctland_,—h.r-o_ugh the—Manag.er--to—th.e—g.o_ve.r.n.i.rLg <br /> body of the unit ; (3) Brief monthly and comprehensive annual financial reports to the Council <br /> and, in line with policies of the unit,, to the Manager and .the governing body of the unit ; <br /> (4) Other reports to be submitted to the Recreation Council and to the Manager (as requested or <br /> deemed necessary) may be on; safety hazards , defective equipment and dangerous conditions, <br /> damaged and destroyed property, and accidents occurring on or within recreation areas and faci- <br /> lities; (5) The Director shall prepare a report of his analysis of departmental financial needs , <br /> receipts and disbursements , then submit to the Recreation Council, for its consideration and <br /> assistance, as the department ' s annual budgetary request is made- to the Manager, and to the <br /> governing body of the unit . <br /> ARTICLE IV; FINANCE <br /> r <br /> SECTION XXIII: GRANTS , GIFTS , BEQUESTS AND OTHER CONTRIBUTIONS <br /> The Recreation Council may recommend acceptance to the governing body of the unit of any <br /> I <br /> proper grant , gift , bequest or donation of any personal, or other property offered or made for ! <br /> recreation purposes , and with the governing body' s approval , amy accept any grant , gift , or ! <br /> t <br /> devise of real. estate, Any gift , bequest of money, or of other personal or real property, or <br />
