SECTION XI: ATTENDANCE OF MEMBERS - <br /> ho , unexcused , misses more than two (2) consecutive regular, monthly <br /> An appointed member w <br /> f <br /> meetings , or a total of three (3) such meetings during the year , loses his status as a member- <br /> laced b the Govex)n�ing Body , _or other appointing agencies . <br /> of the Council until reappointed. or replaced Y <br /> sickness, death, or other emergencies of like nature shall. be regarded as excused <br /> Absences due to <br /> absences and shall not -affect the member's status on the council, except that in the event of a <br /> I illness, or other prolonged absence, the member may be replaced. 'Following two (2) conse- <br /> cutive unexcused absences , or .a ttsta3. of three (3) unexcused absences during the year, of one <br /> of its members, the Council shall recommend a minimum of two (2) -nominees for each delinquent <br /> seat to the Governing Body. These nominees shall represent the same geographic areas as those <br /> being-.:replaced.. .. <br /> SECTION XII; VACANCIES <br /> Vacancies in the or County Recreation and Parks Council shall be filled for the unexpired <br /> term only by appointment of the Orange County Board of Commissioners and the recommendations of <br /> the Council. The Council shall forward a minimum of two (2) nominees per vacancy , and provide <br /> the appropriate biographical. information . <br /> SECTION x111 : COMPENSATION <br /> Council members shall serve without monetary compensation.
